INGREDIENTS
3 cups low-fat milk
2 tablespoons honey
1 vanilla bean
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon canola oil
3 cups frozen corn, thawed
2 cups finely diced onion
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
3 large eggs
1/2 cup white whole-wheat flour (see Tip) or all-purpose flour
1/2 cup fine cornmeal, preferably whole-grain
