My Mom gave me this recipe over 20 yrs. ago .It is now used in Bakeries for whipped cream frosting.

1 c
whole milk
3 Tbsp
all purpose flour
1 c
butter or i can't believe it's not butter sticks
1 c
granulated sugar
1 tsp

How to Make Whipped Cream Frosting


  • 1cook milk and flour untill thick . Set aside and cool until cold
  • 2Beat butter and sugar on high speed for 15 mins.or until it is not gritty
  • 3Then add your flour mixture and vanilla to butter and sugar and beat on high another 10 mins. Then frost.It is very soft so hard to cover. Refrigerate
    I use Foil to cover it so cake doesn't dry out.
