My Mom gave me this recipe over 20 yrs. ago .It is now used in Bakeries for whipped cream frosting.

Frosts 9x15 Cake
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 cup butter or i can't believe it's not butter sticks
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make whipped cream frosting

Step 1cook milk and flour untill thick . Set aside and cool until cold

Step 2Beat butter and sugar on high speed for 15 mins.or until it is not gritty

Step 3Then add your flour mixture and vanilla to butter and sugar and beat on high another 10 mins. Then frost.It is very soft so hard to cover. Refrigerate I use Foil to cover it so cake doesn't dry out.
