One of my families favorite burgers. We all love onion, so I baste the burgers with my onion butter while they grill. Gives them such a wonderful flavor. I added fresh mushrooms this time, if you don't like mushrooms, by all means leave them out. Enjoy!

How To Make ~ tasty grilled onion burger ~

  • 1
For basting butter, mix soup, butter and parsley until well blended, set aside.
  • 2
Remove ground chuck from refrigerator about 20 minutes before ready to mix, just to take the chill off. In a large bowl, ( I use my hands) lightly mix meat, salt, pepper, peppers, mushrooms, onion, Worcestershire sauce and milk.
  • 3
Shape into patties, up to 8 - keep in mind they will shrink, so I make mine each about 6 ounces to fit bun once grilled. I then salt and pepper both sides lightly, spray each side with cooking spray.
  • 4
Arrange on hot grill. Grill for 5 minutes, turn to other side and start basting with onion butter. Turn and do other side. Keep basting until burgers are your preferred doneness. Can add cheese if desired.
  • 5
I also, slathered the rolls and toasted them on the grill.
  • 6
Add desired condiments and dig in. Yum!
