Ingredients

  • 7 ounces black olives, pitted
  • 3 1/2 ounces anchovy
  • 7 ounces capers
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons cognac
  • pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice and peel
  • herbes de provence (optional)

How To Make tapenade

  • Step 1
    Place all ingredients in a food processor and process into a fine paste
  • Step 2
    Serve cool with baguette or crackers
