This is perfect for Pasta, Pizza, Spread on Bread or crackers......I have also used to make whole wheat pita pizza-spread on pita and add mozzarella cook in oven until cheese melts...YUMMY!!!!

Ingredients For spinach pesto

  • 1/2 pkg
    fresh baby spinach (cello bag)
  • 1/4 c
    parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 c
    pecans, in pieces
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil, extra virgin ( use more if you need)
  • 3 Tbsp
    chicken broth( i use to replace some of the oil)
  • 4 clove
    garlic, chopped
  • pinch
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    black pepper

How To Make spinach pesto

  • 1
    In food processor (I use mini processor) add spinach and garlic process till chopped;
  • 2
    add pecans, cheese, broth, salt and pepper process then add olive oil until smoothe paste....
