Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup pecans, in pieces
- 1 cup coconut, flaked
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch salt
How To Make pineapple cake icing

Step 1In a large sauce pan, cook the sugar, butter and evaporated milk for about 6 minutes on medium-high heat.

Step 2Once thickened, add the pecans, coconut, vanilla, and salt.

Step 3Pour over the Pineapple Cake once the cake and icing have cooled.
