I cooked in a steak restaurant /bar & came across this recipe in a cookbook (I've modified it) & thought it would be good on the steaks. It was well received.
methodNo-Cook or Other
crumbled bleu cheese
real butter, softened
cream cheese, softened
green onions, chopped fine
slices cooked bacon, crumbled
How To Make
Mix all with mixer, or by hand if necessary.
Form into logs on plastic wrap. Wrap tightly & refrigerate for 2 hours or more before serving.
This is good on top of steaks or as an appetizer on crackers or on fresh hot rolls.
Note: I keep one log out in fridge & vacuum pack & freeze the others for future use.
