I really don't care for store bought mustards or condiments. Although I do use some for cooking,I prefer my own when making a ham sandwich and this is very hot and spicy just the way a good mustard should be...love this on hotdogs and hamburgers too!!!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 c
    dry mustard powder
  • 2 tsp
    mustard seed
  • 1 Tbsp
    turmeric, ground (or to taste)

    white vinegar

How to Make My own recipe for Home Made Mustard

Step-by-Step

  1. With this recipe the important thing to remember is equal amounts of sugar, flour and mustard powder.
    Mix with turmeric to taste and enough vinegar to mix into a spreadable paste.
    Store in ajar and let sit for a day or so to mingle flavors. No need to refrigerate.
  2. This is delicious!!!
