This butter goes great on steamed asparagus or broiled or poached fish that is piping hot.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sweet butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice, fresh
  • 2 teaspoons lemon rind, grated
  • 1 teaspoon finely minced fresh parsley leaves or 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon minced chives
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried tarragon

How To Make lemon herb butter

  • Step 1
    Cream the butter thoroughly, then add the lemon juice drop to drop, beating continuously
  • Step 2
    Stir in the lemon rind, parsley,chives and tarragon until well blended.
  • Step 3
    To keep this butter at its best flavor, freeze it if it isn't used within 3 to 4 days.
