This butter goes great on steamed asparagus or broiled or poached fish that is piping hot.

sweet butter
1 tsp
lemon juice, fresh
2 tsp
lemon rind, grated
1 tsp
finely minced fresh parsley leaves or 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1 tsp
minced chives
1/8 tsp
dried tarragon

How to Make Lemon Herb Butter


  • 1Cream the butter thoroughly, then add the lemon juice drop to drop, beating continuously
  • 2Stir in the lemon rind, parsley,chives and tarragon until well blended.
  • 3To keep this butter at its best flavor, freeze it if it isn't used within 3 to 4 days.
