Hot Pastrami Spread

2 pkg(8oz. each) cream cheese, softened
1/2 csour cream
2 pkg(2 1/2oz. each) thinly sliced pastrami, chopped
1/2 cfinely chopped green pepper
1/3 cchopped pecans or walnuts, optional
·thinly sliced pumernickel and light rye bread, or bagels (cut up), or soft preztels (cut up)
How to Make Hot Pastrami Spread
- In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Add pastrami and green pepper; mix well. Transfer to a greased 1 quart baking dish.
- Sprinkle with pecans if desired. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until heated through and edges are bubbly. Place bread choice item around you spread and serve.
