texas roadhouse honey butter w/cinnamon (sallye)

My darling granddaughter brought this recipe home from her job at Texas Roadhouse. I tweaked it a bit to make it more home cook compatible (smaller portions and less cinnamon). It is yummy on big fat hot yeast rolls.

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup confectioners sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

How To Make texas roadhouse honey butter w/cinnamon (sallye)

  • Step 1
    Place butter in medium sized mixing bowl. With electric mixer on low, cream butter, then stop the mixer.
  • Step 2
    Sift sugar and cinnamon together into bowl with butter. Restart mixer and continue to beat until sugar mixture and butter are well blended.
  • Step 3
    Add honey and turn mixer up to medium speed and beat until honey is thoroughly incorporated into the mix and the mix is light and fluffy.
  • Step 4
    Transfer to a airtight container and store in fridge until ready to use.
  • Step 5
    NOTE: Remove from fridge about 30 minutes before serving so it can soften up for spreading.
