easy, tasty pupu made with deviled ham. Make it the day before party, refrigerate overnight. Next day just spread on cute little bread slices.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1/4 pound mushrooms, coarsely chopped
  • 2 cans underwood deviled ham (4-1/2 oz each)
  • 1 package cream cheese ( 3-oz)
  • - party bread slices (i prefer rye)

How To Make ham and mushroom pate

  • Step 1
    Melt butter in a skillet and saute mushrooms over medium heat till soft.
  • Step 2
    In bowl combine deviled ham and cream cheese; blend well. Stir in sauteed mushrooms. Cover and chill overnight.
  • Step 3
    Spread on party bread slices and plate. Garnish with tiny parsley sprigs or finely chopped green onion, if you like, just for color.
