Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1/4 pound mushrooms, coarsely chopped
- 2 cans underwood deviled ham (4-1/2 oz each)
- 1 package cream cheese ( 3-oz)
- - party bread slices (i prefer rye)
How To Make ham and mushroom pate

Step 1Melt butter in a skillet and saute mushrooms over medium heat till soft.

Step 2In bowl combine deviled ham and cream cheese; blend well. Stir in sauteed mushrooms. Cover and chill overnight.

Step 3Spread on party bread slices and plate. Garnish with tiny parsley sprigs or finely chopped green onion, if you like, just for color.
