I use this frosting on Sheath Cocoa Cake (recently posted). I also use the same recipe without the cocoa for a vanilla sauce poured over bread pudding.

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- pinch - salt
- 1 cup water
- 3 tablespoons butter or margerine
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon instant coffee
How To Make glossy cocoa frosting

Step 1Sift dry ingredients into saucepan.

Step 2Add water, butter, vanilla and coffee.

Step 3Heat on medium heat until sauce thickens, stirring constantly.

Step 4Spread on cake or bread pudding (leave out the cocoa for bread pudding) while both cake and frosting are still warm.
