Ingredients For garlic confit

  • 4
    head of garlic cloves peeled
  • 3 sprig
    thyme
  • olive oil

How To Make garlic confit

  • 1
    Preheat oven 275 degrees. Add the cloves to a baking dish. Add enough oil to just cover all the cloves. Place the thyme spigs in the oil
  • 2
    Cover and bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Remove from oven and store in oil in fridge.

    To use drain the oil but keep it for cooking. Spread the cloves on toast or crusty bread or into dishes.
