garlic bread butter spread
I stumbled on this recipe after I bought a box of old cookbooks at a garage sale. It was handwritten and barely legible. I can not give credit where it is due. But I can tell you that this is a great recipe to top off the homemade bread you just made. :-)

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon parsley, dried
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
How To Make garlic bread butter spread
-
Step 1Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl by hand or use your stand mixer.
-
Step 2Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate. I use a wide mouth mason jar(s). I also use single serving (1 oz) plastic cups w/lids if I'm on the move.
-
Step 3The butter can be remelted and used as a dipper for bread sticks.
-
Step 4"Homemade is better!"
