How to Make "Fake" Ham Salad--Southwestern Pennsylvania Style

Step-by-Step

  1. I buy the Bologna from the deli and they cut it into 2 large pieces.
  2. Using either a food grinder or processor, grind meat. If using a processor, use the blade and not the grater plate and be sure to use the pulse button until it is ground to your liking. Once ground, put in large mixing bowl.
  3. Mix in your relish and cheese with large spoon. Add mayonnaise and mix well. Serve on any type of bread or use as a dip with crackers. Makes approximately 5-6 cups.
