easy cream cheese frosting
This rich, smooth and creamy frosting is so easy and so good. You really don't even need a recipe if you can remember the four ingredients. It is just one of each. It's great on carrot cakes, cinnamon rolls etc...

Ingredients
- 1 - 8 oz. packages cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 stick salted butter, softened (1/2 cup or 8 tablespoons)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 box confectioners sugar (16 oz. or 1 lb.)
How To Make easy cream cheese frosting

Step 1Using an electric mixer, beat together cream cheese and butter until smooth and well combined, scraping down sides of bowl several times.

Step 2Add 1 teaspoon vanilla; add confectioners sugar, one cup at a time, beating well after each addition.

Step 3Beat until smooth and creamy, scraping sides of bowl down several times.

Step 4Generously frosts a 9"X13" cake, 12 cupcakes or one 2 or 3 layer cake. Great on cinnamon rolls, too!
