Ingredients
- 2 heads garlic peeled
- 2 cups duck fat
How To Make duck fat garlic confit

Step 1Place the garlic cloves and duck fat in a saucepan over medium heat

Step 2When the duck fat has melted turn the heat to low and cook about 30 minutes. Don't let the cloves get too browned. Remove from the heat and place in a jar in the fridge. Melt the duck fat and retrieve the cloves to use on the crusty bread.

Step 3Note If you don't want to peel the garlic, you can separate the cloves and cook with the skin on you will just have to let it cool and pick the garlic clothes out and then strain the duck fat. The duck fat can be used for cooking other items because its delicious.
