Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    dried chickpeas, sorted, rinsed
  • 7 1/4 c
    water
  • 1/3 c
    lemon juice
  • 1/3 c
    tahini
  • 1/4 c
    olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda

How to Make Crock Pot Hummus

Step-by-Step

  1. Place chickpeas into crock pot with water and stir in baking soda. Cover and cook on low overnight (8 1/2 hours) or on high for 4 hours.
  2. Drain chickpeas and put into processor or blender with salt and garlic. Process 1/2 minute. Add tahini and process until smooth. Stir and scrap sides; add olive oil and lemon juice.
