Ingredients
- 1 pound dried chickpeas, sorted, rinsed
- 7 1/4 cups water
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1/3 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
How To Make crock pot hummus

Step 1Place chickpeas into crock pot with water and stir in baking soda. Cover and cook on low overnight (8 1/2 hours) or on high for 4 hours.

Step 2Drain chickpeas and put into processor or blender with salt and garlic. Process 1/2 minute. Add tahini and process until smooth. Stir and scrap sides; add olive oil and lemon juice.
