Ingredients
- - apples cut up to fill 3 1/2 quart crockpot
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 - lemon, juiced
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
How To Make crock pot apple butter

Step 1Cut blemishes off apples and cut into chunks to fill 3 1/2 quart crockpot.

Step 2Add sugar, cider and lemon juice.

Step 3Cover and cook on low for 8 hours. Stir.

Step 4Add cinnamon and cook another 10 hours.

Step 5Stir occasionally until brown.

Step 6Run through food mill or any strainer to strain out seeds and skins.

Step 7To thicken, if not thick enough, return to slow cooker and cook on high uncovered until desired consistency.
