I used to make this a lot when I was in grade school.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans tuna, drained
  • 6 tablespoons ap flour
  • 3 tablespoons margarine
  • 2-3 tablespoons sweet onion, minced
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 dash white or black ground pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 - squirt lemon juice (if desired)
  • 1 pinch onion powder (if desired)
  • 1/2 cup frozen sno-peas

How To Make creamed tuna

  • Step 1
    In a medium pan over medium heat, combine margarine, flour and onion to create a paste. Allow to cook until margarine is melted and begins to brown.
  • Step 2
    Add the milk and sour cream, heat until bloiling and thick.
  • Step 3
    Add remaining ingredients and serve over buttered toast.
