- 4 ounces unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Step 1With an electric mixer on medium speed, cream together cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy (about 5 minutes).

Step 2With mixer on low speed, add the powdered sugar one cup at a time. Add the vanilla. Beat until well mixed, light and fluffy.
