Here's another recipe that I loved when I was a lil boy! DIABETICS, I'm gonna ask Kate if we can have this one as is or if I'll have to tweek it some! STAND BY! What's that? You don't have a food processor? NO problem! I was a lil boy in the '50's so Mom did this in her stand mixer! DIABETICS: OK, use the neufachtel, & low fat mayo, use whole wheat bread & eat only 1/2 a sammie!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces soft cream cheese or neufachtel
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 - whole bananas
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise, or bunyanaise (recipe here on jap)
  • - sliced bread, (what ever your family likes)

How To Make cream cheese & banana sandwich

  • Step 1
    Toss all the ingredients into your food processor and pulse until it's a paste like consistancy
  • Step 2
    Put it in a bowl and stick it in the fridge overnite
  • Step 3
    Next day, spread a generous layer of the spread on the bread. Top with another slice of bread
  • Step 4
    Slice 'em in half and serve. I like them with a bowl of fresh berries. For little fingers quarter them!
