- 1 cup salted butter, room temperature
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 4-5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, minced
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
How To Make cowboy butter

Step 1In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, chili powder, thyme, and black pepper.

Step 2Add the Dijon mustard, garlic, chives, parsley, lemon zest, and lemon juice.

Step 4Place the mixture in the center of a large piece of plastic wrap.

Step 5Bring the sides of the plastic wrap together. Shape the butter into a log. Twist the ends to ensure everything is sealed. Refrigerate for 6 - 8 hours.
