Great Vegan snack. Really taste like cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cashews
  • 1/3 cup hot water
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

How To Make cashew cheese

  • Step 1
    Place cashews in a bowl and pour the hot water over. Let sit for 2 hours. Drain and discard the water.
  • Step 2
    Place the cashews and remaining ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth.
  • Step 3
    Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve on crackers, bagels. veggies. Whatever you want.
