This is a very good recipe for Carmel Icing, I found it in a Betty Crocker cook book. It is very good on a Fresh Apple Cake,or Kentucky Jam Cake.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cups powdered sugar
How To Make carmel icing recipe

Step 1Melt butter in pan, stir in brown sugar, heat to boiling stirring constanly.

Step 2Boil and stir over low heat 2 minutes.

Step 3Syir in milk,heat to boiling,remove from heat and cool to lukewarm.

Step 4Gradually stir in sugar. Place pan in ice or cold water;Until of spreading consistency. If frosting becomes stiff, heat slighty.
