I just tried this recipe from a foodie friend named Lobster...and it was fantastic!!! Its a real flavor sensation! Its salty and crunchy and tangy and sweet! Forget the hot dog and just eat this topping! YUM!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp
    mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp
    prepared mustard
  • 1 Tbsp
    pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 c
    onion-finely diced
  • 1/4 c
    cheddar cheese-grated
  • 1/4 c
    crispy bacon-crumbled
  • ·
    and a sprinkle of chopped chives for flair!

How to Make Canadian Hot Dog Topping

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix all the ingredients together well and refrigerate for 1 hour prior to serving.
  2. When ready to chow down, throw some on your dog and munch away!!
