I love this frosting its quick to make and tastes like penuche, I always double the recipe,

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
4 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
4 tablespoons milk mix one tbsp at a time to desired consistancy
1 tablespoon vanilla

How To Make brown butter frosting

Step 1

Place butter in sauce pan and over medium-high heat cook, stir constantly until light tan in color. Remove from heat

Step 2

In large mixing bowl pour in browned butter and slowly mix in powdered sugar, vanilla and milk, beat on high speed until light and fluffy.
Step 3

This frosting sets up quickly how ever I make it the night before and give it 20 sec at a time in microwave until spreading consistency. it pipes nice
