This is so easy and so delicious AND it can be used as a base for other sauces. This makes 1 cup ...although I have never doubled it but I am sure you could.

Ingredients

  • 1 - egg or 2 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 cup vegetable oil.....i use olive oil

How To Make blender mayonnaise

  • Step 1
    In a blender, combine egg, mustard, vinegar and 2 thsps of the oil. Blend for 30 seconds . With blender still running slowly drizzle the remaining oil into mixture until all oil is used and mixture is thick. taste and adjust seasonings. Store in ajar in fridge.
  • Step 2
    NOTE: Just to let you all know I used raw eggs in this recipe so please feel free to use pasteurized eggs if you have any health concerns or for elderly or pregnant mums.
