baba's fluffy chocolate frosting
(1 RATING)
Got this from McCall's (red) Cook Book from 1963, page 157, called Chocolate Frosting. It's now my all purpose chocolate frosting. This is a great make ahead frosting and stores well in your fridge sealed in a plastic container for weeks. Even thought my Hot Milk Cake is great without frosting, this is my husband's favorite on it.

-
Step 3Gradually add sugar, alternatly with cocoa mixture and milk.

-
Step 5Refrigerate covered with damp cloth until ready to use. Stores well for weeks in the fridge if tightly sealed with a lid in a plastic container.
