Ingredients
- 4 cups apple cider
- 2 gallons cold water
- 4 tablespoons each fresh rosemary, sage and thyme leaves
- 8 cloves garlic minced
- 1 1/2 cups kosher salt
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons black peppercorns
- 6 - bay leaves
- - peel of four large oranges
How To Make turkey brine

Step 1Combine the brine ingredients together in a large pot. Heat on stove until sugar and salt are dissolved. Let cool.

Step 2Pour the brine over the turkey and refrigerate and let brine for 24 hours.

Step 3Remove turkey from brine and discard the brine. Rinse turkey in sink and roast.
