Does the world need yet one more recipe for homemade Taco Seasoning Mix? It's a great recipe for taco seasoning blend, and it has so far worked very whenever I've made Tacos, Taco Salad, or nearly any casserole that calls for taco seasoning. I copied the recipe from a magazine from the late 1970s when I was a new bride and started to cook for my family, and I've adjusted it over the years until I hit that perfect amount for each ingredient. But I'm sure it's quite similar to most similar Taco Seasoning recipes you'll find on pretty much every recipe site and food blog.

For Tacos: Stir 2 Tbsp of the Taco Seasoning Mix into 1 pound of ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, and sauté about 5 minutes or until no pink remains in the beef. Spoon some of the beef mixture into taco shells and top with a handful of shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, finely chopped onions, sliced black olives, a spoonful of chopped cilantro leaves, and sour cream.
