Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tablespoons tbsp cumin seeds
- 1 1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon ground coriander
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon black peppercorns, whole
- 1/2 tablespoon allspice
- 3 - whole star anise
- 1 1/2 teaspoons turmeric, ground
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon ground
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne ground
How To Make shawarma spice mix

Step 1Add the cumin seeds and black peppercorns to a small skillet and cook on medium heat for about 3 minutes. Stir several times and watch to prevent burning.

Step 2Next, add everything to a spice grinder, and grind until you have a fine powder.

Step 3Store in an air tight container and use with any grilled recipes.
