Ingredients
- 2 cups peanut, canola or vegetable oil
- 5 - shallots thinly sliced
- 4 bunches green onions chopped into pieces
How To Make scallion oil

Step 1Add oil to a large pot. Stir in the shallots and green onions. Cook over low heat for 30 to 45 minutes until the onions turn dark brown. Strain the oil through a fine mesh strainer pressing the onions to get all the oil out.
