This is another recipe Dad used and he used it on ribs that he grilled. No telling where he got the recipe, but it is good!

makes about 1/2 cup, and should be enough for up to 6 racks of ribs

  • 1/4 c
  • 1 Tbsp
    dark brown sugar, packed firm
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 2 tsp
  • 2 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    celery salt
  • 1 tsp
    freshly ground black pepper
  • 1-3 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    onion powder

How to Make Memphis Rub


  1. Combine. Store away from heat up to 6 months.
