I LOVE fried chicken. KFC was the only place we went with Grandma Robinson, so when I found this copycat recipe, I had to save it...IT IS FANTASTIC!

Ingredients For kfc chicken spice mix (copycat)

  • 1 Tbsp
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1 Tbsp
    sage, dried
  • 1 Tbsp
    rosemary, dried
  • 1 Tbsp
    onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    paprika
  • 2 Tbsp
    chicken bouillon
  • 3 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    marjoram, dried
  • 1 tsp
    ginger
  • 1 tsp
    thyme

How To Make kfc chicken spice mix (copycat)

    Combine all ingredients and mix well. Add 2 Tablespoons of mix to 1 cup flour for coating chicken before frying.

    Coat the chicken in the flour mixture, then egg wash, then flour again. I fried it on all sides in a large fry pan, then finished in the oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
