So much better than store-bought. Take Taco Tuesdays to a whole new level. Make your own taco seasoning mix and adds tons of flavor, save money, and customize it to suit your taste. Many of these herbs and spices in this recipe may already be in your pantry or spice cupboard.

Ingredients For homemade taco seasoning

  • 2 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 4 Tbsp
    ground cumin
  • 1 tsp
    sea salt
  • 1 tsp
    fresh ground black pepperfresh ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    paprika
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cayenne pepper
  • 4 Tbsp
    dried minced onion

How To Make homemade taco seasoning

    Combine the chili powder, cumin, kosher salt, fresh ground black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, red pepper flakes, ground cayenne, and if desired dried minced onion in a small bowl.

    Whisk or stir to combine well.

    Store in an airtight container in a cool place in the kitchen.
