Dad says to rub this over the surface of the meat or fish and let stand at room temperature about 30 min before grilling. It is good on darn near anything!

  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh oregano (or 2 teaspoons dried crumbled oregano)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons minced fresh rosemary (or 1/2 teaspoon crumbled dried rosemary)
  • 1 tablespoon minced or pressed garlic
  • 1 tablespoon dried beef bouillon base, optional
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, or to taste
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper, or to taste
