- 1/3 cup coarse sea salt
- 1 - (1 g) package saffron thread (about 2 tsp/10 ml)
- 1/2 teaspoon water
How To Make saffron salt

Step 1In clean spice or coffee grinder, pulse together salt, saffron and 1/2 tsp (2 mL) water until vibrant yellow with a few saffron threads intact.

Step 2Store in dark glass or nonreactive airtight container in cool dark place for up to 1 month.
