sweet onion dip / salsa

One of the dips I made to keep everyone satisfied until the turkey is served tomorrow. I kept the seasoning mild in mine, as some can't eat spicy. Season to your liking. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 medium sweet onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small can, chopped black olives, drained
  • 1 large tomato, chopped fine
  • 3 tablespoons fine chopped, green chile - i used poblano
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped, fresh parsley
  • salt - & pepper to taste
  • dash - tobasco or to taste
  • add - cumin, chili powder if desired

How To Make sweet onion dip / salsa

  • Step 1
    Mix everything together in a medium bowl. Taste and add other seasonings if you prefer. I sometimes add black beans. Chill well, and serve with pita chips or corn chips.
