Golden Tomatillo Salsa
1 1/2 lbtomatillos, fresh
1habanero pepper, fresh
1/2 tspsugar, sugar substitute can be used, adjust amt accordingly
·**handful of cilantro
·**couple squirts of lime juic
·**salt to taste
How to Make Golden Tomatillo Salsa
- Remove husks and wash tomatillos. Cut in half and lay on baking sheet. Add fresno and habanero. Place garlic, skin on inside a small piece of foil and fold foil in half.
- Allow to cool, remove skins from garlic, place veggies in food processor, add sugar, lime juice and cilantro. Puree, add a little water to thin out if desired. Add salt to taste.
