My family just loves fresh guacamole and so do I. Its one of our favorite snacks. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 3 medium
    ripe avacados
  • 1 small
    tomato, seeded and chopped
  • 1/4 c
    sliced green onions
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp
    chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 dash(es)
    hot sauce
  • ·
    tortilla chips

How to Make Fresh Guacamole

Step-by-Step

  1. Cut avacados in half, legnthwise; remove seeds. Scoop out avacado out of shells.
  2. Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add avacado. top with cover; process until smooth.
  3. Combine avacado puree with remaining ingredients except torilla chips in a medium bowl. Blend well. Chill.
  4. serve with tortilla chips. Yield 3 1/2 cups.
  5. You can blend this in a mixing bowl with electric mixer on high speed if you don't have a food processor. I just throw all the ingredients into the bowls and mix until the guac is smooth and creamy.
