This classic sauce was a Southern favorite in earlier days. It has somewhat lost its cachet and been largely replaced by tomato based BBQ sauces, but is till a spicy substitute for those who can't tolerate tomatoes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup duke's mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 3 to 4 teaspoons fresh grated horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt

  • Step 1
    Place all ingredients in mixing bowl and whisk until well blended. Store in airtight container in fridge until ready to use.
