Nothing better with fish, than your own home made tarter sauce...beats the store bought anytime...I use the dill relish in mine, as that's what my family prefers..

Ingredients

  • 1 cup helmanns mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons or more - drained, dill or sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon minced, onion
  • salt - & pepper to taste
  • 1/8 - 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice - optional

How To Make tarter sauce

  • Step 1
    In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise,mustard, pickle relish, and onion. Add salt and pepper to taste. If desired, stir in lemon juice. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
