My family just loves this sauce on steak or chicken...just switch out the broth, depending on what you're using it on...it's so creamy, flavorful and delicious! Enjoy! All photos belong to me

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken or beef broth, for whichever meat you're serving the sauce with
  • salt - & cracked black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup fresh grated parmesan
  • 2 ounces cream cheese

How To Make steak with creamy garlic parmesan sauce

  • Garlic sauteeing in butter and oil.
    Step 1
    In a medium saucepan, melt butter with oil. Add the garlic and saute for a minute or two. Add the flour and cook for about 1 more minute.
  • Whisking cream cheese and Parmesan into broth and heavy cream.
    Step 2
    Pour in the broth and heavy cream and bring to a slow boil and whisk until thickened. Whisk in the cream cheese and Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
  • Sauce poured over steak.
    Step 3
    Serve over chicken or steak. It's delicious!
