If you like sweet & spicy, you will love this tasty sauce. I made this sauce for dipping my Coconut Chicken Strips...everyone just loves it...why buy when you can make your own?... Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon siracha sauce - or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 tablespoon fish sauce or 1 tsp salt

How To Make spicy chili dipping sauce

  • Step 1
    Over medium high heat, in a small sauce pan, add sugar,vinegar and water and bring to a boil, while stirring, until the sugar is dissolved. Add the finely minced garlic, Sriracha and crushed red pepper. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it slightly thickens. Dissolve 1 tablespoon of corn starch with 1 tablespoon of water.
  • Step 2
    Bring the sauce to a rapid boil and whisk in the slurry, stirring until it thickens. Set aside to cool.
  • Step 3
    Enjoy! It's yummy!
