spicy chili dipping sauce

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon siracha sauce - or to taste
- 1 tablespoon corn starch
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 tablespoon fish sauce or 1 tsp salt
How To Make spicy chili dipping sauce

Step 1Over medium high heat, in a small sauce pan, add sugar,vinegar and water and bring to a boil, while stirring, until the sugar is dissolved. Add the finely minced garlic, Sriracha and crushed red pepper. Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it slightly thickens. Dissolve 1 tablespoon of corn starch with 1 tablespoon of water.

Step 2Bring the sauce to a rapid boil and whisk in the slurry, stirring until it thickens. Set aside to cool.
