Grampa says this tastes just like the coney sauce he remembers. Serve on good quality hot dogs (Koegels Viennas if available in your area) with mustard and onions. Leftover sauce freezes well

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon a-1 steak sauce
- 21/2 to 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon tabasco sauce
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
- - ketchup, as needed

Step 1In a salted skillet, brown ground beef with onion over medium heat, breaking up meat with a fork to crumble it fine. Drain off fat. Add remaining ingredients, except ketchup. Mix well, then add enough ketchup to keep mixture loose. Simmer, partially covered, 1 hour, adding ketchup as needed
