Demi Glace Wine Sauce

This is a rich beef sauce that tastes great over steak. If I don't have demi glace I use beef broth with Knorr's homestyle bouillon and it is just as good. Adding mushrooms is good too.

Ingredients

1 large
shallot diced
4 clove
garlic minced
2 Tbsp
butter
1/2 c
dry red wine
8 oz
beef demi glace

How to Make Demi Glace Wine Sauce

Step-by-Step

  • 1Heat a saucepan and add 1 tablespoon butter. Saute the shallot and garlic for 1 min. Add wine and reduce by half. Add demi glace and heat through. Stir in remaining tbsp. of butter. Serve over steaks, or roasts.
