I ate at a Cuban restaurant in town and fell in love with the food. I went online and found lots of great Cuban recipes. Sofrito is a simmering sauce that goes great with beef, pork or chicken

Ingredients
- 21 - cherry tomatoes
- 2 medium green peppers chopped
- 2 large onions chopped
- 10 cloves garlic chopped
- 2 - bay leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin and oregano
- 3/4 cup sherry
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- - salt to taste
How To Make cuban sofrito

Step 1Saute all ingredients except sherry until veggies are softened. Add Sherry and let simmer 10 minutes.
