  • 1/2 c
    dry white wine
  • 1 small
    shallot minced
  • 1 stick
    butter cut into pieces
  • 1/4 c
    heavy cream
  • ·
    juice of 1 lemon
  • ·
    salt to taste

How to Make Creamy lemon butter sauce for fish


  1. Heat wine and shallots. Bring to a boil and reduce until only about 2 tbsp. liquid left. Reduce to low and whisk in butter a few pieces at at time. Whisk in cream and lemon juice. Cook 1 more minute
